Wasim Jaffer
Jaffer, a right-handed opening batsman who bowls off breaks, is known for his technical finesse with a remarkable talent to play gorgeous shots without hitting the ball in the air. Following a prolific school career, during which he scored 400 not-out in one innings as a 15-year-old, he made his entry into first class cricket scoring a triple century in his second match for Mumbai. Jaffer scored his maiden Test hundred against England at Nagpur and he made his first Test double century at the Antigua Recreation Ground against the West Indies in June 2006. A prolific run scorer in the domestic one-day circuit, he is now all geared up for the IPL 20:20 bash.
