Sunil Joshi
Sunil Joshi bowls slow left arm spin and bats left handed. Joshi played both Test and One Day International cricket for India between 1996 and 2001. His usual role in the team was to provide runs from the lower order and act as a secondary spin bowler.
His most famous bowling performance for India came in an ODI match against South Africa in the LG Cup in 1999. He returned figures of 10-6-6-5 helping India to victory. Three years later, the feat was rated in the Wisden 100 as the seventh best ODI bowling. Sunil Joshi is a regular Karnataka stalwart. In the 1995-96 Ranji Trophy season, he achieved the `double’ of 500 runs and 50 wickets.
