Zaheer Khan
Known to his team mates as "Zaks", Zaheer is an alumnus of the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore and was one of the answers for India's search for a genuine left arm swing bowler at the turn of the millennium. He was named as one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year 2007. Strongly built and known for his aggression, Zaheer represents the new face of a positive Indian cricketer.
A left arm pace bowler, Zaheer has the ability to swing the ball either way, and as a batsman also holds the record for the highest Test score by a No. 11 (75 versus. Bangladesh in 2004). He has taken more than 200 ODI wickets (Avg 29.04) besides having 170 test wickets in his kitty.
