AB to lead SA in ODIs and T20s
Royal Challengers AB de Villiers has been named the skipper of the South African skipper for both the limited versions of the game - ODIs and T20s.
In recent times, there has been a lot of churning going on with the South African national team. Gary Kirsten, the former South African international, who was one of the most successful coaches of the Indian team until very recently, has been named the coach of the Proteas team with Allan Donald as the bowling coach. With de Villiers' appointment as the skipper of the two versions of the game, the circle comes to near completion after Graeme Smith stepped down from the leadership role.

According to reports published, de Villers on being appointed the skipper, commented, "There is a lot of responsibility on my shoulders and I am really looking forward to it." SPeaking at a press conference in Johannesburg. "I am obviously very excited and ready to learn. I have been through some ups and downs in my career and I am ready to take on anything."
Challengers are going places! After Dilshan's appointment as the Sri Lankan skipper, Team Royal Challenger can now boast of another International skipper in the team.
