Abhinav Mukund joins RCB
RCB have signed up batsman Abhinav Mukund as a part of the squad for the 2013 Indian Premier League.
The Tamil Nadu southpaw opened for India in 5 Tests against West Indies and England in 2011. He was a part of the Chennai Super Kings squad in the first five editions of the IPL and was released in November. He has played only two games in the IPL, both back in 2008.
Known for his well developed game through the offside, the 23 year old has been a prolific run scorer on the Indian domestic circuit with averages of 50.98 and 53.42 in First Class and List A cricket respectively.
