Andrew McDonald moves to Adelaide Strikers

Royal Challengers Bangalore allrounder Andrew McDonald joined the Adelaide Strikers in the 2012-13 Big Bash League transfer window.

Andrew McDonald captained the Melbourne Renegades in the inaugural season of the BBL where he captained his RCB teammate Dirk Nannes. It is not clear if he will lead the South Australia based Adelaide Strikers, one of the low profile teams in the BBL.

Muttiah Muralitharan too joined the Renegades squad recently, committing to play BBL for them and anticipating a major face off against Shane Warne who plays for the local rivals the Melbourne Stars.
