Anil Kumble to head ICC Technical Committee

Indian cricket great and RCB mentor Anil Kumble was appointed as the Chairman of the ICC’s Technical Committee after an executive meeting in Colombo on Tuesday.

Kumble will replace Clive Lloyd as the Chairman, just a week after replacing Sourav Ganguly as the head of the BCCI’s Technical Committee, a position he will continue to hold. He is also the president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association.

The recently retired Andrew Strauss was the other new name in the Technical Committee, nominated by Ian Bishop as his replacement after the West Indian voluntarily stepped down from the panel.
