Arun Karthik’s purple patch continues
Arun Karthik’s fine run in the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association’s first division continued when he hit his fourth hundred of the season on Thursday.
Karthik hit 102 (203b, 4x10) for his team Vijay Cricket Club against the United Friends Cricket Club at the IC-Guru Nanak ground in Chennai. His knock helped his team reach 194/1 in 72 overs in their seventh round game in TNCA’s first division cricket league.
His fourth ton now means he has 604 runs in seven innings, a purple patch by any standard.
