ALl rounder Pankaj Singh finished with the best bowling season in a match this season till date as he added 6 more to his tally of 8 in the first innings as Rajasthan won their Ranji trophy encounter against Tripura by 10 wickets well within 2 days. Pankaj Singh, who captured 8/32 in Tripura's first innings, claimed 6/20 in the second innings to skittle them out for 55 in the second innings. Rajasthan, who could score only 150 were left to score only 4 to win the match, duly won it before the end of second day's play.

All rounder Stuart Binny led Karnataka to a first innings lead against Himachal Pradesh in the Ranji league match. Binny, fresh from his rescue act yesterday when he scored a century, took 3/22, as Himachal Pradesh were all out for 199, replying to Karnataka's first innings total of 254. Abhimanyu Mithun could capture one wicket while Sreenath Aravind claimed 4/50. Sunil Joshi claimed 2/24. In the second innings, Kartnataka batsmen gave another pathetic display with the bat as they reached 73/4 at close on day 2. Manish Pandey, who scored a duck in the first innings remained unbeaten on 26 along with Amit Verma. Robin Uthappa scored only 11 in this innings.

In other domestic matches, Wasim Jaffer continued his good form with the bat scored a patient 169 as Mumbai declared their first innings at 544/3 against Guajarat. Bhuvaneshwar Kumar continued with his brilliant form as he claimed 6/77 to skittle Haryana out for 272, but couldnt save his team Uttar Pradesh from conceding the first innings lead. UP had scored a paltry 167 in their first innings.
