Cameron White is in ominous form these days, which is a welcome note for Team Royal Challengers. In the absence of players like Kevin Pietersen, Ross Taylor, Steven Smith, White’s present form is leaving Coach Ray Jennings satisfied with the team combination.

A cool head on his shoulders and warm handling of affairs in the middle makes Cameron White the man to watch out for this IPL. The Royal Challenger is back with a bang with the bat this season and is having a wonderful time in the middle for Australia in both the ODIs and T20s. On Thursday, he guided Australia to a series win against New Zealand for the Chappel-Hadlee Trophy. His unbeaten 50 off 57 balls and patient handling of the partnerships in the middle paved the way for the win.
Though another Royal Challenger, Ross “Whirlwind” Taylor, failed with the bat for New Zealand in this match, the way White has shaped up and continuing with his form this season, Coach Ray Jennings must be a happy and relieved man. There are reasons for it. White has an enviable record of 48 runs per innings in the ODIs for this year, with a strike rate in the 80s. In the 20-20s, White has a strike rate close to 150 while making runs @ 47 this year.
White’s form becomes a handy proposition for Coach Jennings, especially when three important members of Team RC – Kevin Pietersen, Ross Taylor and Steve Smith – are slated to join the team much later, probably during the third or fourth week of the IPL. Pietersen will be engaged with England in their Test series against Bangladesh till March 25th while Taylor and Smith will feature in the Test Series between New Zealand and Australia which will end on March 31st.
White, who had two indifferent seasons with Team RC in the last two IPLs, is supposed to join the team anytime during the first week of IPL, and should play an important role in Team RC’s advent in the tournament.
I think he will be there for 2nd march for sure.Because Australia's last odi vs New Zealand will be on 13th march. And as he is not part of the aussie's test team ,he should join RCB afterwards.
Thanks eds. In the first week of ipl that is from 12-19, rcb plays 3 matches.. will cameron be there before 19th. any finalised dates on his arrival or information on when he would available??..
