Chennai has it easy
A brilliant partnership of 137 runs between Suresh Raina and Murli Vijay powered Chennai Super Kings to 200, a total which they easily defended against Wayamba Eleven. With this, CSK registered there second straight win in the tournament and are on course for a semi-final berth.
In another match, Victoria Bushrangers continued their march with a hardfought victory over Central Stags. Chasing a modest target of 165, Victoria managed to surpass with only 2 balls to spare largely due to some controlled aggression by opener Aaron Finch who remained unbeaten on 93. More importantly, he guided the team to victory in a close encounter.
