Dilshan scores ton in warm up
Tillakaratne Dilshan led Sri Lanka’s reply with a 101 in their tour match against the Cricket Australia Chairman’s XI at the Manuka Oval in Canberra on Friday.
After winning the toss on Thursday and choosing to bat first, the CAC XI posted 439/6 before declaring. They were helped by runs from Scott Henry (207*), Glenn Maxwell (91) and Usman Khawaja (56).
Dilshan gave Sri Lanka a good start, adding 105 with Dimuth Karunaratne for the first wicket. He brought up his hundred off 148b before he retired to give his teammates time in the middle. Mahela Jayawardene contributed with 55 as Sri Lanka reached 276/4 at Stumps on Day 2, trailing the CAC XI by 163 runs in the first innings of the 3 day match.
