Dilshan to miss first Test against Kiwis
Tillakaratne Dilshan will miss the first Test between Sri Lanka and New Zealand at Galle due to a bad back.
The same injury had also kept him out of the final two ODIs against New Zealand in the series preceding the Tests. Dilshan scored a ton in the third ODI, playing despite the injury and was rested by the selectors after the game.
The first Test will begin on November 17th. Dimuth Karunaratne has been named in the squad as Dilshan’s replacement.
