Gayle, Nannes and McDonald to play in SLPL
RCB’s Chris Gayle, Dirk Nannes and Andrew McDonald were named among the ranks of players participating in the Sri Lankan Premier League yesterday at Colombo.
Chris Gayle joined Tillakaratne Dilshan and Muttiah Muralitharan as one of the 7 icon players in the tournament which begins on August 10th and will be played till August 31st. Three of the seven teams in the tournament will be led by Royal Challengers Bangalore players.
Dilshan is the captain of the Basnahira Bears while Murali is the captain of the Uthura Oryxes. Gayle will lead the Uva Unicorns where he will lead RCB teammate Andrew McDonald while Dirk Nannes will play under his Tillakaratne Dilshan at Basnahira.
