India team for NZ Series, T20 WC announced
India’s teams for the upcoming Test series and T20 Internationals against New Zealand and the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 were announced by the BCCI’s Selection Committee in Mumbai on Friday.
Cheteshwar Pujara returned to the Test side, expectedly as the replacement for Rahul Dravid’s now vacated no. 3 slot in the batting line up. Piyush Chawla and Suresh Raina too returned to the Test team, Chawla having last played a Test in 2008 and Raina last year during the tour of England.

The selectors announced one team for the two T20Is against New Zealand and the subsequent World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka. Yuvraj Singh returned to the site, barely six months after he successfully underwent chemotherapy to battle cancer. Harbhajan Singh, Piyush Chawla and L Balaji too made their return to the Indian set up.
