The coolest RCB updates, served hot.

Prasanth Parameswaran signed up as Sreenath Aravind replacement

Royal Challengers Bangalore have signed Prasanth Parameswaran, the left-handed paceman from Kerala, as a replacement for the injured S. Aravind.

Parameswaran will join the squad at the earliest. He was a part of the Kochi Tuskers Kerala outfit in the 2011 season of the IPL.

“We are happy with the induction of Prasanth Parameswaran in our squad. He will boost our bowling resources during the most critical phase of the ongoing tournament,: Sidhartha Mallya, Owner, RCB, said.

Good signing. But I think either local boy Nervanda C Aiyappa or Adithya B Sagar could have been a better option.

@ANANTH11296 No joke and he got hit by a damn good batsman, could happen to anyone. T20's too harsh on bowlers.

@Romain-Khan Not sure why exactly they signed him but I doubt there is any major disagreement over him as a signing, guess we just have to see how he does. No guarantees based on past performances like the signing of Tiwary has taught us. Also, you post sensible comments, we wouldn't block you.

@Billy-Joe, transfers don't work that way. Russell is too good but up to DD if they want to release him.

Hope he boosts the bowling strength... it was the same last yr... we were in a loosing streak and it continued until dirk got injured and gayle was signed.. all fortunes changed.. similarly... this could be the repeat of the last season.. we are loosing.. now we shud forget and hope prashanth and all do well and bring RCB back to the winning momentum till the finals.. its all abt peaking at the right momentwe have learnt a lot frm these losses.. this would definitely help us on our way to the title.. Go RCB go!!!

not that i am frm kerala and i like him.... that 37 runs incident was not because he was bad... it was becaue gayle force was the best at that moment... and any bowler ll suffer that once frm gayle.. that was his day..he got it frm gayle.. now that both are in the same team. he shud do well.. apart frm that 1 over.. he was good in the other ipl games
