IPL 6 auction in January 2013

The player auction for the 2013 Indian Premier League will be held in January 2013.

It was decided at a meeting of the IPL governing council on Wednesday that the auction will be held either in Chennai on January 12th or at Kolkata on January 20th. At the moment, Royal Challengers Bangalore has a purse of $ 2.78 m to acquire players at the auction.

The governing council will make a decision on the inclusion of Pakistani players in the tournament in another meeting scheduled to be held prior to the auction.
