IPL 6 auction on Feburary 3rd in Chennai

The player auction for the 2013 Indian Premier League will be held on February 3rd in Chennai.

IPL CEO Sundar Raman made the announcement on his twitter feed on Wednesday evening.

37 players are likely to go under the hammer in the auction with Australian skipper Michael Clarke (Reported base price: $ 400,000) being the biggest name. Royal Challengers Bangalore has a purse of $ 2.78m to spend on acquiring players at the event.
