IPL Player auction on February 3rd

Player auctions for the 2013 Indian Premier League will be held on February 3rd 2013.

The auction was earlier expected to be held on January 12th but the IPL management decided against a clash with the India-England ODIs. The venue for the auction has not been finalized although it is likely to be held in a metro.

37 players are likely to go under the hammer in the auction. Royal Challengers Bangalore has a purse of $ 2.78 m to spend on acquiring players at the auction.
