Asad Pathan made just 3 runs for Gujarat in their chase of Mumbai’s 233/9 at the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai’s bowlers managed a narrow 8 run win, keeping them to 225/9.
Not far from there, at the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai, Cheteshwar Pujara made 17 in Saurashtra’s 2 run loss against Maharashtra. Batting first Maharashtra piled on 311/5. Saurashtra briefly threatened their score before ending on 308/9.
