In the ongoing second Test against West Indies, the burly South African and Royal Challenger, Kallis played a steady knock of 110 off 227 deliveries.

Kallis reached the 11000 run milestone when he reached 89 enroute to his ton. He joins Rahul Dravid, another Royal Challenger who is lying fourth in the all time highest run getters list at 11395 runs. The exclusive club is led by Sachin Tendulkar, the highest scorer in Test cricket, at 13447 runs. The others who have crossed 11000 runs in Test cricket are Brian Lara (11953), Rickey Ponting (11928) and Allan Border (11174). Kallis has so far amassed 11021 runs.
