Karun Nair sends RCA on leather hunt
Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Karun Nair’s prolific run in domestic cricket continued as he hit 156* in a massive 367 run opening partnership at Mysore on Saturday.
Nair hit 156* in 223b with 17 fours and 4 sixes, supporting double centurion Rahul KL (200*, 258b, 4x23, 6x2) as the duo piled on 367 for no loss in their team KSCA President’s XI's second innings.
The team had been bowled out for 273 in their first innings. Rajasthan Cricket Academy posted 465 all out in reply, taking a 192 run first innings lead. Karun and Rahul’s massive partnership though saw the KSCA President's XI finish on a strong note with a 175 run second innings lead as the match ended in a draw.
