Karun Nair ton props up KSCA XI
Karnataka State Cricket Association XI’s batsmen piled on 436/6 on Day 1 of their 3 day Moin-ud-Dowlah Gold Cup Tournament 2012-13 quarter final game against Hyderabad Cricket Association President’s XI in at Secundrabad on Thursday.
The campaign kicked off in style after KSCA XI won the toss and chose to bat first at the Gymkhana ground in Secundrabad. The openers fell after getting starts but Karun Nair and stand in skipper Sunil Raju plundered the bowlers after that.
Karun Nair made 168 (257b, 4x21, 6x3) before he was bowled by Ashish Reddy. Sunil Raju was unbeaten on 158 and Ronit More on 5* at Stumps on Day 1.
