Kohli's 173 proves his mettle in longer version of the game

Virat Kohli made a mammoth attempt at proving his credentials in the longer version of the game as he stroked to a magnificent 173 to steer Delhi out of the danger zone against Bengal in the domestic Ranji Trophy Super League Match. Royal Challenger Virat has already made his presence felt in the T20 and ODIs for India, today batted for close to 6 hours for his 173. Virat scored more than 100 runs through boundaries hitting 24 boundaries and one 6. Based on his innings, Delhi could climb up to 328/6 against Bengal's first innings score of 473.

Another Royal Challenger Pankaj Singh also had fantastic match for Rajasthan as he captured 6 wickets in the match as Hyderabad was decimated by an innings and 256 runs. Pankaj, who was overshadowed by Deepak Chahar (8 for 10), picked 2 in the first innings and doubled it up with another 4 as Rajasthan was skittled out for 126 in their second innings.

kohli's shots r a treat to watch really i admire his skill but he needs to work a bit more on temperament and patience then he'd be a gr8 a gr8 prospect for indian cricket........so lets hope he does well :)
