Mithun, Mukund and Vinay named in BCCI squads

Abhimanyu Mithun, Abhinav Mukund and Vinay Kumar were named in the squads for the upcoming Irani Trophy and warm up games against the touring Australian side by the All-India Senior Selection Committee in Bengaluru on Tuesday.

The Irani Trophy game between Ranji Trophy winners Mumbai and a Rest of India side will be played from February 6th-10th at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. Virender Sehwag will lead the 15 man squad which features RCB speedster Abhimanyu Mithun.

The two warm up games against Australia have been shifted from Delhi to Chennai along with the first Test.

RCB’s latest recruit, left hand opener Abhinav Mukund will lead the Board President’s XI in a two-day game against Australia to be played in Chennai from 12th-13th February.

Vinay Kumar was named as a part of the India A squad which will play a three-day game against Australia in Chennai from 16th-18th February.
