Muralitharan vs Warne to kick off Big Bash League
The first match of the 2012-13 season of the Big Bash League will feature the two spin bowling legends Muttiah Muralitharan and Shane Warne playing against each other.
Muralitharan will be playing for the Melbourne Renegades who take on Warne’s Melbourne Stars in the derby at the Docklands Stadium in Melbourne.
Other RCB players in the tournament are Chris Gayle (Sydney Thunder), Andrew McDonald (Adelaide Strikers) and Daniel Vettori (Brisbane Heat). Vettori and McDonald are recovering from injuries though and their participation is suspect.
