Pomersbach begins new stint at Queensland
Luke Pomersbach will turn a new page in his career when he plays for Queensland against Western Australia in a four-day Futures League 2nd XI clash beginning on October 29th at Perth.
In July 2012, Pomersbach signed a one year deal to move to Queensland after being dropped by Western Australia due to disciplinary breaches.
He made his debut for Western Australia in 2006 and was famously called to join the Australia national team for a T20I against New Zealand in 2007 at the WACA. He was in the car park of the stadium, ready to attend the match as a spectator when a last minute injury to Brad Hodge opened up a slot in the side.
He averaged 40.59 for WA in 30 first class matches with 4 hundreds and 16 fifties.
