RC players put up impressive performances at Nagpur, Hyderabad

Royal Challengers players are making the club and themselves proud by putting up impressive performances in the domestic championships. Manish Pandey, playing for the Board President’s XI against the visiting South African team, batted in his flamboyant style to score 43 in 42 balls with five hits to the fence and two over it. The 2-day practice match is being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association ground in Nagpur. As a practice match, each side can field 15 players but 11 players can be in the field at a time. Also 11 players per side can only bat and bowl.

In the Duleep Trophy final between South Zone and West Zone played at Hyderabad, SZ piled on a huge total of 356/6 at the end of the first day, thanks to a magnificent century by Dinesh Karthik who is unbeaten on 161. Keeping Karthik company for SZ was another Royal Challenger CM Gautham who made a polished 49 and was involved in a 121 runs partnership for the fifth wicket.
