RC to meet CSK in the semis

Team Royal Challengers will face Chennai Super Kings in the first of the semi-finals of Airtel Champions League T20 on Friday, September 24. Chennai moved into the semis by defeating Chevrolet Warriors by 10 runs tonight. CSK had to win to move into the last four stage and they did it in style on a slow wicket where the spinners had a big role to play. Muralitharan came out with flying colours when he was asked to bowl the final over. Defending 15 runs, Murali bowled a tight length to give away only 4 runs and picked up 2 wickets in the over to deny Warriors.

The first CLT20, held on Indian soil, didn't see any of the Indian teams in the semi-finals. And now, on South African soil, CLT20 is ensured of an Indian side in the Finals. Surely, Indian cricket has come a long way! And so has Team RC. Lets get prepared for the semis.

It will take a brave man to predict the outcome, but the fact that the Super Kings have been far more consistent than RCB in the league stage cannot be overlooked. We can't deny the fact that RCB hasn't played upto the potential in this tournament.
