RCB Corporate Cricket Championship Season 1
The first ever RCB Corporate Cricket Championship kicked-off at the Alur Grounds in Bangalore on Saturday, 9th November. 16 teams, across 4 groups,were battling it out on Day 1 of the knock-out rounds. With teams all braced up to face the challenges ahead of them, the first set of T10 matches started at Alur 1 at 9am.
At the end of the day, Team Amber had set the highest score of the day at 92 runs and restricted their opponents, team RR Rockers to 53 runs. The other teams that emerged victorious were Amadeus, ITC foods, Amazon, VM Ware and ANZ Tech. Chamandeep Singh of Team Amadeus top-scored with 42 runs.
Day 2 saw VM Ware record their second victory in a row, after they beat Team Oorja, who had a walkover on Day 1. Team Attra registered their second loss in a row after Team HP beat them with a margin of 62 runs. ANZ Tech and Amadeus continued their winning streak as both won their respective matches. Team Amazon who won on Day 1, were beaten by Schneider Electric, who bounced back after facing loss on Day 1 at the hands of ITC Foods. The RR Rockers couldn’t make a mark yet again, and were defeated by Mu Sigma. ITC Foods won impressively yet again after they beat ARM.
