RCB launches its new merchandise - dedicated to the fans!

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) today launched a new range of lifestyle merchandise and accessories for the 5th season of the Indian Premier League.

While unveiling the merchandise and accessories range at an exclusive RCB-themed kiosk at the UB City mall, Mr Sidhartha Mallya, Director, Royal Challengers Sports Pvt Ltd, said, “I am very excited about the introduction of this new range of merchandise and am sure our fans will be equally enthusiastic about our new lines. We have tried to enrich the experience of fans year-on-year through various marketing initiatives and fan engagement platforms. The new range of merchandise and accessories goes beyond the conventional clothing line and offers fans various other options to show their support for their favourite team.”

This new range of high quality lifestyle merchandise is available at affordable prices and currently marketed and sold via on-ground retail tie ups, dedicated online platform and via in-stadia sales during IPL 5. RCB is planning to make this range available round-the-year through online sales using its e-commerce platform and also via strategic on-ground tie-ups with existing and new collaborators.

Mr Kunal Rawal, Mumbai-based ace designer, has created the exclusive designer line of merchandise offering attractive printed tee shirts, caricature tee shirts and the Chris Gayle-dreadlock cap. Sharing his idea behind the creation, Mr Rawal said, “The design has been inspired by the motto of Team RCB– Game for Life – and I have attempted to create a range that is both stylish and functional. This has been an interesting and exciting project for me. I am sure this range will be accepted by the fans to whom this is dedicated.”

Sports & Beyond is another line which is part of the lifestyle merchandise launch. This range offers RCB branded travel bag, visiting card holder, luggage tag, bumble bee glasses and tee shirts.
The merchandise range also includes a replica line of RCB playing jerseys in red and green, RCB polo tee shirts in different colours including red, white, black and green. The range also has RCB caps, visors and pins apart from bags, seat cushions, wall & table flags and caricature book.
