Srivats Goswami, the reserve wicket keeper of Club Royal Challengers has been going great guns this season the limited overs domestic cricket. In the Vijay Hazare trophy for the domestic One Day cricket championship, Goswami cracked three centuries with a highest of 149 during the 2009-10 season. With an average of 94, Goswami again was in his elements in the finals of the Vijay Hazare trophy today at Baroda.

Appearing for Bengal, Goswami cracked a powerpacked 81 off 84 balls in Bengal’s innings of 350 in 50 overs in reply to Tamil Nadu’s huge total of 379/6. Goswami, who opened the innings for Bengal, whipped 10 boundaries and two 6’s in his innings. Though Bengal lost the finals, the form of Goswami is keeping Club RC coach Ray Jennings an extremely happy person.
