T20I squad to play England named
The selectors announced the squad for the two T20Is against England at Kolkata today.
Virender Sehwag and Zaheer Khan do not feature in the squad as they had indicated their unavailability to the board. Irfan Pathan and Harbhajan Singh have been dropped from the squad that attended the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka in September.
Mumbai’s Ajinkya Rahane will replace Sehwag while Delhi’s Parwinder Awana will replace Zaheer. Saurashtra’s Ravindra Jadeja and UP’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar are the replacements for Harbhajan and Irfan Pathan.
Team India for T20Is: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt, wk), Gautam Gambhir, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Manoj Tiwary, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Piyush Chawla, Ashok Dinda, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Lakshmipathi Balaji and Parvinder Awana.
