Team RC ropes in Chris Gayle
Chris Gayle, the explosive former West Indian captain has been drafted in by Team Royal Challengers. Officially confirming Gayle's joining, owner of Team Royal Challengers, Dr Vijay Mallya tweeted, "It's official now. The explosive Chris Gayle is now a part of the RCB squad after receiving clearance from the WICB." Gayle replaces injured Dirk Nannes who will be out of action for 5 weeks and has already left the squad. Gayle will also be useful at the top of the batting order as Tilakratne Dilshan may have to leave the squad in the first week of May due to international commitments as the newly appointed Sri Lankan captain.
