Team RCB's families love Namma Bengaluru!
UB City, malls, Commercial Street and the green & yellow autos - Team RCB's families just can't get enough of Namma Bengaluru !
We have seen the cameras pan on them cheering with the RCBians in the stadiums. But Team RCB's families are here for more. Yes, they love Bengaluru!
From Coach Ray Jennings's wife Alison Jennings and VP Russell Adams's wife Nicky Adams to pacer Dirk Nannes's wife Erin Nannes who is here with their children, six-year old Max and four-year old Ayla - everyone ventures out of the stadium and hotel to explore the Garden City - it's wonderful food and culture.
Says Erin Nannes in a quote to the Deccan Herald, “I haven’t been able to shop much but the kids simply love travelling in the tuk-tuks”. That's what the little ones call Namma Bengaluru's auto rickshaws!
Erin also tells us, "I like Bengaluru, its an assault on all your senses; everything is full on, nothing is half measure! Lots to eat, lots to do with the kids..! The IPL has been great, it'll be better if Dirk is playing and the kids love coming to the game. India has to be experienced!! It has the best crowds in the world."
Alison Jennings told us about her experiences so far. She said, "Bengaluru is friendly, lovely climate..the people are warm and welcoming." When asked about the IPL with 2 wins and 3 losses for RCB, she said, "It can and will get better.. IPL is hectic but its a constant adrenalin cricket.."
The player's wives and children, needless to say, become one family during these few days in Bengaluru and enjoy the city to the fullest!
Here's some more love for our home city through the IPL this season ! Cheers !!!
