Uthappa stars in Karnataka's win over Goa
Royal Challenger Robin Uthappa's 30-ball knock of 53 set up Karnataka's huge victory in the south zone T20 tournament for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Goa here today. Chasing a modest total 135, Karnataka romped home with more than 4overs to spare. Manish Pandey set the tempo of the chase with a 20-ball 23. Uthappa then maintained the momentum with the whirlwind knock which included six hits to the fence and two over it.
Earlier, Karnataka bowlers restricted Goa to 134 as the slow bowlers of Karnataka maintained a strict line and length taking wickets at regular intervals.
