Vinay to lead Karnataka in Ranji
Vinay Kumar, the young Royal Challenger, has been chosen to lead the Karnataka side for this year’s Ranji Trophy. Visibly elated after being chosen the skipper, Vinay said, “To lead a team that in the past has been led by great players like Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid and Sunil Joshi is indeed a great honour and privilege for me. But if I think too much about it then it will start affecting my individual game. So I want to keep it simple, want to enjoy my game and play the way I usually do.” The side, which includes the regulars, however, left Rahul Dravid out because of his international commitments.
