The Green initiatives goes to the next level with a nomination in Corporate green star Awards.
RCB’s green initiatives began in 2010 with the IPL-3. A number of unique initiatives like car pooling solutions for fans coming to the stadium, waste segregation at stadium and effective disposal through recycling and composting, collaboration with the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation for additional buses to and from stadium.
And for the people watching us on the television we took various initiatives like a Green match, planting saplings in and around Bangalore, exchanging saplings with the opposite team captain before a toss. This was not all for all the Fans to trace their own carbon footprints we launched "Carbon footprint calculator" on the RCB website and many others initiatives that made our Motto of "Go green" loud and clear.
We are now nominated for the Tata Consultancy Services World 10K Bangalore Corporate Green Star Award for our green initiatives this year during IPL5. We need your votes to get this award. Vote for us Here!
