If 3.3 – 0 – 16 – 4, figures of Kumble was the figures that stunned everybody, then the win and the eventual qualification for the Champions Trophy must have come as a huge consolation for a side and its fans who never stopped dreaming about winning the IPL.
Nevertheless, a second and third place finishes in consecutive years, after the inaugural year blip, RC has come a long way. And a good one at that too!

Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At last RCB proved what its capable of, No teams can match us if RCB plays to its potential, Looking forward for a Successful champions league
Ross taylor
Cameron White
Dale Steyn
retain these players at any cost ..........
rcb didnt use ross well .....
white he is captain of victoria which won most of the kfc t20 championship in australia
dale one of best fast bowlers in world right now..
if u guys dont retain him ..he will be difficult to buy..........
in september auction try to buy a perfect all rounder mostly shane watson(if available) and
try to buy either mccullum or warner or shaun marsh......
awesome game :)loved it i wish we'd crushed mumbai like tat but its ok there's always next year .. but we're in the big league -"the Champions league " it'l soon be redemption time :) :) :) we'll win tat no probs.. love u guys you're simply amazin i don care wat anyone says i kno tat RCB are the bestest ever :) :) and just heard modi say all the players have to be sent to the auction :( :( i don want any players from this team to leave :( cos all of them contributed in one game or the other, either to help us win or save face so hope vijay mallya manages to get the guys back :) can't wait for sept :0 m gonna have withdrawal symptoms startin tom :( oh and i have to say Dravid , Kumble and Kallis are "THE BEST " and absolutely no-one can be compared wit them :) good job ppl ...
Now that we are in the Champions League, I request, please for Heaven's sake, don't ask Rahul Dravid to open. Try something like Kallis and Ross Taylor so that one can keep his end on while the other can blast the bowling. Rahul neither likes to open nor has he been successful there. His 35-ball 52 came at no.3. He is the most successful at no. 3 in all the formats of cricket. If we are playing him, let him be no.3 or no. 4, not no 1-2 any more. It would be unjust.
RYDER my god is mind blowing!! if he is available he must b brought bak into the RCB squad fr the ACLT20!!!! this IPL he didnt play bt if hes fit he must play in the ACLt20!!! he is mind blowing n gets his runs at a quick pACE!!
4 INDIAN PLAYERS : DRAVID,KUMBLE,KOHLI & UTHAPPA SHOULD BE RETAINED BY RCB
3FORIEGN PLAYERS : PIETERSEN OR JESSE RYDER,WHITE & STEYN SHOULD BE RETAINED.
SEPTEMBER AUCTION PICKS:
1.YUVRAJ SINGH - HE SHOULD BE BOUGHT PROVIDED THAT HE IS AVAILABLE FOR AUCTION.
2.RAVINDRA JADEJA - HE SHOULD BE BOUGHT AT ANY COST
3.PETER SIDDLE - HE SHOULD BE BOUGHT AS A 2ND FAST BOWLER IN OUR TEAM.
4. NATHAN BRACKEN - He is one of the few economical bowlers in world cricket… his bowling at the death for australia has proven that he can be a asset in T20 format. Its unfortunate that RCB let him go but its time to pick him during the auction.
4.LUKE WRIGHT,FLINTOFF,GRANT ELLIOTT & OTHER HANDY ALL-ROUNDERS SHOULD BE BOUGHT.
All these guys would add tremendous strength to our side which actually req some fine tuning in terms of team balance. I'm sure we can rock if we could get these players in the auction.
Guys, I can understand your view on Kallis, But we didn’t have anybody who could replace “JESSE RYDER” I think almost all of them have forgotten him since he has not played much part in the last IPL.
RYDER is one of the most dangerous batsman in world cricket today, The back to back unjury didn’t help him though, But if he sticks with RCB & gets a chance to play in CL…. Oh boy….... We wouldn’t be complaining about the powerplays anymore.
Congrats on getting into the champions league!the problem with rcb this season has been their bowling .their bowling has been unidimensional and they have been taken apart on flat pitches they really need a quality bowler.i would suggest they take someone like mitchell johnson next auction if available.that will be a good bonus and we will have a great quality bowling line up as well
Here would be my next years team
foreigners retained:
kallis
kp
steyn
here is the tougher part:(i dont know which among the five actually)
dravid for sure
robin for sure
among praveen kumar virat kohli and kumble is the tough choice because mind you kumble is almost 40, now and this will probably be decisive auction as well.
My ideal team
:
dravid
kallis
kp
uthappa
kohli
any good indian batsman bought in the auction
steyn
praveen kumar
kumble
doshi
any international quality bowler(here is where johnson would help because he can come at six or seven and score useful runs)
hmmmmmmmm at last smile's on d faces of kannadiga's..............hope u ppl play d same as u played yesterday..............jumbo u r d god..............good luck rcb
oh yeah!!!!!! very very happy! hat's off to mr Kumble. he's the best. unfortunate that we didn't qualify for the finals. but no worriers. we gonna rock the clt20. RCB RULEZZZZZ. KUMBLE-PLZ we wan't see more frm u!!! don't retire!!! CHEERZ!!!
