The coolest RCB updates, served hot.

Winning IPL our primary objective: Dr Vijay Mallya

For Bangalore, the RCB team and all RCB fans, winning must be most important.

In the last 2 editions of the IPL and in last year's champions league RCB reached the semi-finals which is a matter of pride. But then we have not yet lifted the IPL trophy which is our prime objective.

Intensive research was conducted and various simulations made to determine the ideal squad for RCB at the recently concluded auction. The main theme centered around youth which is consistent with RCB's exciting and challenging personality.

We had a budget given to us by the BCCI and we promptly retained our very own Virat Kohli, one of the most promising youngsters in the Indian national team. We wanted to give him the company of equally young explosive Indian players.

In previous IPL editions RCB struggled with team balance and non aggressive fielding. We were determined to correct this with a powerful line up of Indian youngsters complemented by carefully chosen and proven international players with specific roles on the field. We are very satisfied with the outcome of the auction and believe that we have a balanced side with ample firepower under the mentorship of the legendary Anil Kumble and coaching of Ray Jennings. We are confident that RCB will do all it's fans proud during the coming IPL season.

Auctions are unpredictable and we needed to spend our budget cautiously on players who would meet our core objectives. It is true that we had to allow several of our stalwarts go to other IPL franchisees and we wish them the best of luck.

For RCB fans please look forward to a new, youthful and explosive challenge.

Remove dravid's photographs from "NEW PHOTO SECTION". Its an insult to him. He is not wanted during the auctions but this website wants to attract loyal fans of RCB by posting his photograph on this website.
I think mallya should introduce a new "PHOTO SECTION" ....
with himself ,charl langeveldt and md kaif as the faboulous/hot threesome...
This will be RCB's home page.

Dr Mallya,

Without decent uncapped players this will remain a dream. Imagine we have only 1 Indian allrounder and no Indian spinners as yet in the team. Also no backup keeper. So we are totally dependent on the foreign recruits in these areas!!! All the best

if Dravid is an ordinary cricketer, we can try to understand your reasons. He is world's technically best batsman. Can you even imagine how will you be able to justify to the loyal fans? Definitely it does not qualify to be Roya Challengers Bangalore. Its fit for only Royal Challengers. God saving you is also doubtful. May you finish No.10 in the table this this time.

for winning, one needs talent. not only the young appearance. we have seen how much your young local chunk contributed in all previous editions. If you are only going with age and looks, you can take Sidharth mallya also and send him as opener.

and more importantly its like you have insulted the soil in which RCB was born and brought up and is making its living. Better bring back Dravid, Uthappa ASAP.

Hello Mr. mallayaa.. you have betrayed local fans by insulting Dravid and excluding Uthappa. People will not forgive you. You will see absolutely no support this time. Be preapred. You better bring them back by exchanging a player each to Rajashthan and Pune in next edition. Your bad time has begun again, enjoy and beware!

its not winning, it's winning with the local palyers talent u have

no dravid no uthappa, no local talent in RCB, still u need us to support RCB chancless. You have to groom the palyers. its just like if india is not producing yooung talents, get some one from other country & win the cup? does it make sense? so with our players in RCB der is no chance of we supporting RCB. ITS only RC now.
