Zaheer to play in Mumbai Ranji opener
Zaheer Khan and Sachin Tendulkar have declared their availability for Mumbai’s 2012-13 campaign opener at Mumbai on November 2nd.
Mumbai will play Railways at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and it will be an opportunity for the two Indian Test team members to warm up before England’s tour of India begins on November 15th at Ahmedabad. The second Test between India and England begins at the Wankhede on November 23rd.
Zaheer last played for Mumbai in two games in November 2011 when he was returning from a long injury enforced lay off while Sachin last played for Mumbai in January 2009.
