About meKevin Peter Pietersen, MBE (born 27 June 1980 in Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa) is a South African-born cricketer who plays for the England cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional off spin bowler who plays for Hampshire County Cricket Club, England, and was originally the captain of Royal Challengers Bangalore, during IPL 2008.
