I’ve never blogged before!! I think this is what they call “Blogger’s Block”! The cursor is blinking at the title and I’m thinking I should think of a really nice title considering this is my first piece. Anyway, we’ll leave that for later. The RCB anthem is playing and evoking it’s patriotism in me! So let’s get started… RCB!! My association started with them in the 1st year and it was an overwhelming experience! The first time I stepped into a cricket stadium was loooong ago when Pakistan played against India and we won!! I wasn’t interested in cricket then, but, watching the match with so many fans got me jumping and screaming at every six. By the end of the match I was addicted to all of it… the energy, the excitement.. The game of Cricket had me hooked. When the Royal Challengers first approached me to cheer for them I was thrilled at the prospect of being able to contribute to my city and state! I stepped into the stadium and and all the lights made me so nervous. As I walked around interacting with the fans it gave me such a high! The energy of the fans when they shouted out my name was an exhilarating feeling!!! I’ve never experienced that before, meeting so many fans at a time! The support was amazing! In a couple of days the 2010 IPL 3 will begin. It’s going to be bigger, better, more exciting and tons more fun than the previous installments. This time I get to watch the match with my fans in my very own stand! I had a look at the terrace stand today and the view is the best!!!! It’s next to the press podium ad the tickets are priced at 2750 per match.. I’m not sure if all this would have been possible without Dr. Vijay Mallya. He always does things differently and in style! The most exhilarating and humbling moments in my life have been at the stadium and I have my dear fans to thank for that.

Hi Ramya,

pretty decent effort..i like it..but “The RCB anthem is playing and evoking it’s patriotism in me!”...mathraa hollu(is a lie)...you’re also the only actress i like in the kannada film industry…cheers RCB n cheers to ramya…
Namaskara Ramya, Nimma blog thumba chennagide. Heege continue maadi.
Welcome to blogging dear!! you r most charismatic among the current heroines in kannada film industry…
Guys n Gals, 51 comment on her first blog is a great response, considering most of us, the regular bloggers, struggle to get even 2-3 comments! How about making Ramya really score a century on the “Debut Blog” - by taking it to over 100 comments? This is my 4th or 5th comment - if the rest of those who have already commented can contribute 1-2 comments each, it would be great. Make the comments really rib tickling, teasing (decent, of course), playful and really intersting to read. Copy ideas from Rajkumar’s songs, dialogues from Vishnuvardhan, etc etc Maybe some from the younger stars too - there are too many of them, I don’t know who the real STAR is! Let me try: Ondhe ondhu bayakeyoo

@rahunath: hahahah… ur comments are the most interesting to read
Sorry, that was a typo ..should read “....dream come true…” Pummy031, that was not intentional!
Pummy031 says: “An RCB Match, Ramya by my side and Kingfisher in hand….Oooooo…lalala….Oooooo…lalala…..Oooooo my dream is coming true….please vote fo me and make my dam come true….Ooooo…lalala….” Pummy is on just 1 vote. For adding “spice” to this page and increasing the ‘excitement quotient’, he gets my vote and he moves to 2 ! No way you can sit next to Ramya with 2 votes, my friend. Market yourself now!

Am surprised no one is helping me by volunteering to translate. Will do once more, now. Soori (or Suri) Kannadiga (the guy with 2 comments between “koolrcb” and “Royaldude”) says: “Makes me feel very happy, that you are giving encouragement to Kannada’s Royal Challengers team. Please, when you are inteviwed during the match, speak in Kannada. Jai Karnataka” Royaldude says: Cool ma’am - You, appu and kichcha are all RCB fans. This time IPL is ours only, that’s sure. I have exams till 24th and will join after that”.

For the benefit of our many friends who don’t know Kannada, someone has to translate it for them. I will volunteer once: Pummy031: “Oh, our girl!
