Ravi Rampaul

Ravi Rampaul is a right arm fast-medium bowler from West Indies. He can be dangerous as he moves the ball both ways at a brisk pace. He made his ODI debut in 2003 but could not keep his place for a longer time due to injuries and inconsistent performances.
Rampaul kept turning in consistent performances for Trinidad and Tobago to remain on the fringes of national selection, regularly playing in the limited overs formats. He worked on his bowling and fitness and the results were on show during the 2011 World Cup where he was impressive with the new ball. Later that year he showed off his prowess with the bat, frustrating India in the ODI home series.
In between he also caught attention with his bowling for Trinidad and Tobago in their Champions League T20 appearances.
He was one of the contributors to WI’s triumphant 2012 World Twenty20, his tendency to be expensive at the death undermined by his fast and canny opening spells which gave his team important early breakthroughs.
