Grace Harris slays UP Warriorz with zero grace and all power

Last time when RCB clashed with the UP Warriorz in WPL 2026, it was a Grace Harris show that sealed the fate of the game. Since then, however, the Aussie hard-hitter didn’t really get the runs coming in. However, in RCB’s clash against Mumbai Indians in the penultimate game of the group stages, Grace did get the start that she was looking forward to, only for the innings to fall flat.

But as they say, once you taste the fireworks, there is no going back from there. For Harris, it was just a matter of time before she came out blasting those shots into every nook and cranny of the park. It all started with Kranti Gaud offering her full-toss on the very first ball and Harris was not backing away from a tantalizing gift like that.

Fast forward another delivery and Harris had already smacked two boundaries in the first three balls that she faced. That was just the beginning of the rampage to follow. What followed thereafter was a show for the ages as the Aussie power-hitter muscled her way to glory.

After Gaud faced the wrath of Grace, Deepti Sharma decided to try a hand at checking the scoring rate only for things to be further complicated for the Warriorz. Sharma’s first ball was clobbered out of the park as the cheers in the RCB camp only got louder.

When former RCB all-rounder, Asha Sobhana came into bowl, she was hammered for 16 runs by Grace Harris as RCB only came closer than ever. She brought up her half-century with a rollicking maximum against Asha and the Royal Challengers could see the finals from distance.

She eventually fell against Shikha Pandey in the 10th over, but the damage was irreversible by then. She had amassed 75 runs from 37 balls against her former team and more importantly, RCB had 108 runs on the board. Inches away from the finish line, Harris had no hesitation about going big. Trying to flick Pandey across the line, she was beaten by a quicker one that crashed onto the timbre.

However, Harris had got her job done by then and RCB were rocking forth to the finish line. Grace made it look easy but it needed her time to come back to her scintillating best. Also, if you believe that it was only with the bat that she was sparkling, with the ball, she claimed a brace too, leaving the Warriorz all over the place.
