I want to do more for my country – Sree Charani on her match-winning performance against Pakistan

India spun together a web of inexplicable mystery around Pakistan, bundling them out for 55 in Dubai. Sree Charani spearheaded the charge for India with figures of 3/7, a performance that also won her the Player of the Match award.

Talking at the post-match presentation, Sree Charani opened up on her spell while also highlighting the feelings about winning the Player of the Match award in a major game against Pakistan.

Reflecting on the emotions of winning the Player of the Match award and her spell, Sree Charani said, “It’s great, (a) great feeling to contribute (to) my team. Just wanted to bowl to my strength and according to the field. I just try to give more revs on the ball, so that helps me every time.”

Opening up about the feeling of coming close to 50 WT20I wickets, Sree Charani said, “I think (it’s) normal, like every day. But it will be special, but yeah, I need to continue more and want to do more for my country.”
