India eye triumph in T20I series as Gabba gears up for all-or-nothing showdown
After what has been a humdinger journey for the Men in Blue Down Under, they are all set for the closing chapter which is slated to be played at the Gabba. India hold a slender cushion going into the final clash of the series after their bowlers put up a show in Gold Coast to secure a clinical win against the formidable hosts.
It goes without saying that the hosts will be coming out all guns blazing order to level the series. With the return of Glenn Maxwell, they will be hoping for some serious firepower in the middle order while Mitchell Marsh remains to be the beacon of salvation up front for the Aussies.
One can expect a full-blown cracker to light up the Gabba tomorrow as two stacked teams take centerstage, laying down the marker for the upcoming days. Also, the consequence of this series might lay all the important foundation in place as India move forward towards the upcoming T20 World Cup which is slated to be played in February 2026.
Venue Watch:
The surface at Gabba has usually been a high-scoring one with batting getting relatively easier in the second half. There will be good bounce and pace but with the track exhibiting decent carry if the batters are able to tackle the speed, then it shouldn’t be much of a bother for the ones wielding the willow.
