India start title defence in ICC Men’s T20 World Cup with clash against USA

ICC announced the fixtures for the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup and India will be starting their title defence with a clash against USA in Mumbai, on February 7th. The Men in Blue have been placed in Group A alongside Namibia, Netherlands, USA and arch-rivals, Pakistan.

After India’s clash with USA on the opening day, they will be locking horns with Namibia on February 12th in New Delhi. Up next on India’s schedule is the most anticipated clash of the tournament in the group stages as they will be duking it out against Pakistan in Colombo on February 15th.

India will be concluding their group stage fixtures with the final contest against Netherlands in Ahmedabad. The top two teams from each group will be making the cut for Super Eight which is to start from February 21st. Following the Super Eights, the top four teams will make their way to the semi-finals which will be played on 4th March and 5th March respectively.

The summit clash will be held either in Colombo or Ahmedabad and it will be played on 8th March.

Feb 7, 2026 - India vs USA (Mumbai)

Feb 12, 2026 - India vs Namibia (Delhi)

Feb 15, 2026 - India vs Pakistan (Colombo)

Feb 18, 2026 - India vs Netherlands (Ahmedabad)
