As runs deluged in Vizag in a high-octane thriller between India and Australia, plenty of records were also toppled. Smriti Mandhana and Pratika Rawal were sensational in India’s batting unit with scores of 80 and 75 respectively while breezy cameos from Harleen Deol, Jemimah Rodrigues and Richa Ghosh allowed India to put up a fine show.

Here is a list of all the records that were registered during India’s innings against Australia:

·      India smashed their second-highest Women’s ODI total against Australia, chronicling 330 runs in the first innings. The highest came recently against an unsuccessful chase in Delhi where they posted 369, while attempting to shoot down a total of 413.

·      India registered their highest-ever total in a Women’s ODI World Cup clash.

·      The score by India was also the most conceded by Australia in the antiquity of the quadrennial extravaganza.

·      Smriti Mandhana was electric in her knock of 80, becoming only the second Indian batter to rack up 5000 WODI runs.

·      Achieving this feat at just 29 years, Mandhana also became the youngest Indian to storm into the history books.

·      Smriti’s rollicking knock at the top also made her the first batter in women's cricket to complete 1000 WODI runs in a calendar year. She has so far garnered 1062 runs from 18 innings with four centuries and four half-centuries.

·      Smriti Mandhana’s stellar knock of 80 is her highest total in the history of the World Cup.
