South African wunderkind and one of the stars of the Under-19 World Cup thus far, Dewald Brevis has admitted his love for RCB. Brevis has grabbed the limelight with some electrifying batting displays in the ongoing tournament.

Brevis, who has been nicknamed "Baby AB" due to a stark resemblance with the maestro of the sport, has been the tournament’s highest scorer so far with 362 runs from just 4 innings.

After his explosive hitting in the tournament, a picture of him wearing the Royal Challengers Bangalore jersey had gone viral on social media.

If that hadn't already made his admiration for the team obvious, Brevis has added that he loves the franchise due to its association with AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli.

“For me, one of the biggest dreams is to play for the Proteas. I'm such a big fan of IPL and I would love to play the IPL for RCB. I love RCB because Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers were there. I'm a big fan of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers,” said the Protean prodigy, speaking to ICC.

Brevis has racked up a fifty-plus knock in all the innings that he has played so far in the tournament, including a blistering century. Apart from his hitting flair, Brevis is also quite handy with his leg-spinners. He has claimed six wickets from four games in the tournament.
